I have to admit that when I first started out wanting to write Erotica, BDSM Fiction (well, somewhat fiction anyway) I didn't quite know what would happen. The book that I've been working on has been submitted to Harlequin's writing competition, "So You Think You Can Write". I'm pretty impressed with the voting that's going on. I have way more facebook "likes" than I ever expected to get.
When you write stuff like this, you never know what to expect from people. You either have a fan base or a fuck you base....the fuck base isn't a good thing. They are the ones who judge you the most. They judge and fear what they don't know and that would be the BDSM lifestyle and definately the Harlequin name. Unfortunately those wonderful books and their wonderful authors have gotten a bit of a bad wrap for having the same story lines over and over again. I think there are a few authors that have smashed through that (Tiffany Reisz, eh?). I'm hoping to be considered one of those authors and with your help, I can be.
